Investment Funds

Every life insurance company has a wide selection of Investment funds to suit everyone’s taste and appetite for risk. You can choose funds with a high equity content, commercial properties, commodities, fixed interest securities issued by Governments and large companies or a mixture of all of these.

Most people tend to invest in the mixed asset funds as you have diversification within the fund. These are generally known as Managed Funds. All funds are now graded according to level of risk. The higher the risk the higher the potential return. To guide you, funds are typically graded on a scale of 1-7 with 1 being the lowest risk (deposit) and 7 (100% equities) being the highest risk.

Income Bonds:

An Income Bond provides you with an annual income. The amount of Income you receive depends mainly on the level of risk you are willing to take.

  • Minimum term generally 5 years
  • Minimum investment generally €25,000
  • Income payments subject to Income Tax.
  • We have a selection of Income Bonds to choose from.

WARNING: Past performance is not a reliable guide to future performance. The value of investments may go down as well as up.
