Yvonne Walsh
Yvonne is a Mortgage and Financial Broker with Financial Sense. Yvonne started her career in Financial Services with Canada Life in 2000 and joined the McCormack Group in 2014. She is a Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA), holds a Fellowship Diploma (FLIA) and a Degree in Marketing.
Yvonne’s top priority is the customer and she takes great care to ensure that each customer’s needs are met and dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
Not only will she ensure that your mortgage journey is as seamless and easy as possible Yvonne will give you straight talking Financial Advice in the areas of Protection, Pensions, Savings and Investments.
In her spare time, Yvonne likes to exercise, play piano, attend live bands and organise charity events.
Liam Dowling
Liam started in the insurance business in 1997, when he joined the Pensions Team with the Standard Life Assurance Company. He progressed rapidly to become a successful Broker Consultant with Standard Life in 1999, with responsibility for the Midlands/South Leinster area.
In 2005, he joined the largest independent life brokerage in Co. Wicklow, where he managed their Life, Pension and Investment Business for over 10 years before moving to Carlow and managing the Carlow Hooper Dolan life, pensions and investment business.
Liam is a Qualified Financial Advisor and holds a Diploma in Business along with qualifications in both Commercial and Personal Insurance giving him a wealth of experience across many of our divisions. He is committed to providing the best advice and customer services to new and existing clients alike.
Liam will add to our strong local presence here in the office, being born and bred in Killeshin. He is married to Jodi and has 4 children and is a passionate sports man and as Chairman of Killeshin GAA Club. He spends much of his spare time in the local GAA fields.
Paul White
Paul is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and a member of the LIA.
Paul has over 47 years experience in the industry advising a broad range of personal and business clients on Life Assurance-Serious Illness Cover-Income Protection Plans-Personal & Company Pensions-Whole of Life Policies used to mitigate Capital Gains Tax and Wealth Management (Investments/Savings Plans).
His focus is to provide outstanding customer service and to make the process as smooth as possible for his clients.
He believes in helping people to live life the way they want.
Away from the office he is an avid sports fan, likes a good film and enjoys daily walks with his dogs in the country.
Marcus McCormack
Marcus McCormack is a director of DNG McCormack Properties & Financial Sense. He is a Qualified Financial Advisor along with holding qualifications and continual education in Property Studies and Valuations. He works primarily in the property arm of the business from the Carlow & Tullow offices. Marcus is a long standing member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV).
Specialising in commercial and residential property sales, valuations and advisory services, Marcus has more than 25 years experience across these divisions. He is well known in the business community throughout Co Carlow for his professionalism and commitment. In his spare time, he is passionate about motor biking, rugby and equestrian sports. Marcus has three children, is a native of Tullow and lives in Castledermot.
Paul McCormack
Paul McCormack is a director of DNG McCormack Properties & Financial Sense. He is a Qualified Financial Advisor along with holding degrees in both Property Studies and Business & Legal Studies. He works primarily in the property arm of the business from the Clane, Co. Kildare office and is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland.
Paul specialises in residential and commercial property sales, valuations, letting and advisory services and has more than 20 years experience across these divisions. He is dedicated to customer service and always going the extra mile for his clients. In his spare time, Paul is involved in youth gaelic football coaching in Clane GAA and plays golf. Paul lives in Clane and is married with two children.

Financial Sense falls within the DNG McCormack Properties group which was founded in March 2000 by brothers Marcus McCormack & Paul McCormack, who were already well established as professional and reputable brokers in the Insurance and Financial Services sectors since 1994.
The high standard of professional services offered by Financial Sense and DNG McCormacks to clients from their three offices in Clane, Co. Kildare, Tullow, Co. Carlow and Carlow Town see the company as one of the key players in the financial services, insurance and property world in the South East.
Today, DNG McCormacks & Financial Sense employ 13 people and offer services across all general estate agency lines including residential & commercial sales and lettings, new homes, property valuations, property management and advisory services. Through the Financial Sense arm of the business, we offer life, pension and mortgage services including term insurance, serious illness cover, income protection, personal pensions, company pensions, first time buyer mortgages, remortgages & top ups and investment mortgages.
The company’s 13-member trained and dedicated team have a firm focus on customer service, professionalism and achieving the required goals of our clients. We are committed to continual education and training to ensure we are fully up to date with all industry developments. We take a modern approach to business and offer both on-site and virtual services to meet people’s individual needs.
In our property division, we are part of the renowned DNG franchise since July 2006 to bring added value to our customers and enhance our expertise. The DNG group has a premier franchise spanning virtually every town and city in Ireland and is a name associated with quality real estate service delivery across Ireland and marries perfectly with McCormack’s mission of excellence of service.
In our Financial Sense division, we are members of the Life Insurance Association and complete continuous professional development courses on a regular basis.
